POTA.app has some fantastic resources for both activators and hunters. The Parks Map and the Parks List both offer extensive views of entity locations and relevant details. But I don’t like being tied to a web page – I want something more portable and convenient to me, something in my pocket. Google Maps to the rescue!
It’s possible to import the parks list information into Google Maps. And you don’t have to be a programmer or IT professional to do it.
I did a little research and a lot of tinkering and want to share what I’ve learned. I created step-by-step instructions, littered with screenshots – a time consuming masterpiece of development.
Crossing my I’s and dotting my T’s, I made a high-level web crawl for anything I might have missed before posting my work here and sure as god made little green apples, I found a series of videos on the topic. Frankly, these videos are easier to digest than what I’d created.
